So I finally got to celebrate my birthday with my family. We went to Universal Studios, saw Iron Man 2 and ate at Latin Quarters. It was the best birthday I have had in a LONG time. I mean, I've been waiting for more than a couple weeks to celebrate it because of finals and I feel like it was so worth it. On top of that, I got a B in intermediate drawing, a class I was sure I would fail. It was like frosting on a cake. It felt so good to come out with a B after all that hard work I put into it. The semester is almost over but I'm still suffering through because my professor chose the last possible day to hold finals. I was kinda happy about it at first because I was nowhere near ready to show my work, but now I'm dreading it. I'm in that "school is over" zone and its really hard to push myself to produce some drawings. I'm going to have to lock myself in for the next four days to come up with enough stuff to keep Chris Thomas happy. Sidenote/Warning: If you are or plan on going to UCF, never take Chris Thomas for any drawing class. HE WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE! I'm doing this for me now. I'm finally getting back to drawing the things I love. I was lost for a very long time. I blame it on school. They always tell me what to draw, how to draw it, and when to turn it in. It took me a while to realize that all of that was killing my creativity. Well, I'm not under their rule anymore, so I'm gonna forget what I learned and just teach myself. I wanna revive the comics that i used to do in high school. They were fun and comics appeal to a lot more people than self portraits and cow heads. Okay... I think I'm done now. R.I.P Farrah Faucet and Michael Jackson btw
